  • Heat oven to 350°F.
  • Combine 1-1/2 cups flour, 3/4 tsp. baking powder and baking soda. Beat 2/3 cup sugar and 5 Tbsp. butter in large bowl with mixer until well blended. Add egg, sour cream and vanilla; mix well. Add flour mixture; mix just until moistened. Stir in ginger.
  • Spoon into 12 paper-lined muffin cups.
  • Combine all remaining ingredients; spoon over batter in muffin cups.
  • Bake 18 to 20 min. or until toothpick inserted in centers comes out clean. Cool muffins 5 min. Remove from pan to wire racks; cool slightly or to room temperature.

Let baked muffins cool slightly, then dust muffin tops with powdered sugar.
