Fresh pear slices coated in sugar and cinnamon are baked in a crushed ginger cookie crust for an easy-and-elegant autumn dessert.

medium pears, peeled, thinly sliced

cup (1/2 stick) butter or margarine, melted

Make It

PREHEAT oven to 350°F. Place pears in large bowl. Add 1/4 cup of the sugar, the flour, lemon juice and cinnamon; toss to coat. Set aside.

MIX biscuit crumbs, remaining sugar and the butter. Remove 1 Tbsp. of the crumb mixture; reserve for later use. Press remaining crumb mixture firmly onto bottom and 1 inch up side of 9-inch springform pan. Arrange pears on bottom of crust, overlapping slices as necessary.

BAKE 30 to 35 min. or until pears are tender. Sprinkle with the reserved crumb mixture. Cool slightly.
