When cutting dessert bars, carefully wipe off the knife blade between cuts with a clean damp towel. This prevents the filling from building up on the blade, ensuring clean cuts that leave the edges of the cut bars intact.

Excellent flavor and easy to make, but don't overbake or they get too chewy.
I made these over the weekend and they were most yummy. They had autumn flavors and the ginger and caramel flavors meld together well. The whole pan got devoured. I didn't drizzle the extra white chocolate over the bars, (mainly because I burnt it in the microwave) but, everyone liked them anyway. These would be good for an autumn potluck or tot take to work for a treat.
