I'm not sure what is wrong with this recipe; maybe the Jello. It had a funny texture. I guess I'm just a strawberry lover. I'll go back to my strawberries with a couple tbls. of sugar.
Made this for Father's day gathering....not a crumb left. I did not use anything related to raspberry as I don't care for it. So strawberry all the way...fruit & jello. Went out to my garden and picked more strawberries to make another pie after company left so hubby and I had more to enjoy. Easy, quick and Yummy. My berries were a little more juicy than store bought so added a little more corn starch. Perfection! Makes a inviting presentation and oh so yummy!
I made this using splenda instead of sugar. It worked out great. We really liked it. Peaches are coming on soon, think i will try using them to make a peach version. Oh, I also used sugar free jello.
