Tried this scalloped style with the yellow sweet potatoes - fresh. sliced thin then brushed them layer by layer with the glaze and added grated parmesan to each layer. baked covred for an hour. Everyone loved them - they taste like pancakes with butter and syrup.
I made this last year for Thanksgiving. We travel 3 hours that day so it was nice that I could reheat. Even people who aren't normally sweet potato fans (the ones that tried it) were surprised that they liked it. Glad I remembered where I had found the recipe.
I made this one Thanksgiving. I believe this could be made any time of year, since there are no marshmallows in it.
