  • Add boiling water to gelatin mix in large bowl; stir 3 min. until dissolved. Stir in cold water. Refrigerate 4 hours or until firm.
  • Break gelatin into small flakes with fork. Spoon about 1/2 cup gelatin into each of 8 tall glasses. Pour 1/2 cup KOOL-AID into each glass.
  • Serve with straws.

Substitute

Prepare using 2 pkg. (3 oz. each) JELL-O Grape Flavor Gelatin.

Two-Color Goo

Prepare 1 pkg. (3 oz.) each JELL-O Grape and JELL-O Orange Flavor Gelatin in separate bowls as directed on package. Refrigerate until firm, then break into flakes. Alternately layer 1/4 cup each orange and grape gelatin flakes in each glass. Pour 1/2 cup cold prepared drink over gelatin in each glass.

Fizzy Goblin Goo

Prepare KOOL-AID as directed, substituting cold seltzer for the water. Serve immediately.

Yeah it is kinda gross getting chunks of stuff in your drink, but isn't that what Halloween is about. She served it out of a witches pot with a creepy hand laddle. I plan on using this recipe for my kids Halloween parties at school.

Everybody loved loved them and said it was a great idea. (TIP-If you make these for a halloween party you can tie ribbin around the cups.)

If you are going to put any plastic spiders inside the drink make sure children use a straw....that's what I'm going to do.
