  • Cook broccoli in boiling water 1 min. Rinse with cold water; drain well.
  • Toss broccoli with dressing, raisins, onions and lemon peel in large bowl; cover.
  • Refrigerate at least 30 min. Sprinkle with pecans just before serving.

    this salad was good but i agree with the other comments it just had to much of a ranch taste and the raisins were just gross in it. if i make this again i will not be putting raisins and ranch together!!

    I love this recipe!! The only thing I did find the Ranch Dressing 'gets lost' in the salad. I use Kraft Poppy Seed or Sweet Vidalia Onion dressings and it really kicks up the flavor...

    I made this salad and it was just all worng. I LOVE Broccoli salad and had never made it, but I just did not like this at all. Way to much ranch. I did love the golden raisins and the red onions in it. It was the ranch that killed it for me and I like ranch so not sure why it bothered me so much in this dish. Been there done that with this dish.
