This cheesy mashed potato casserole flavored with fresh chives has a golden hue. Serve alongside your favorite meat or poultry main dish.

What You Need

cups  cooked cubed potatoes, mashed
cup  milk
Tbsp.  butter or margarine
Tbsp.  chopped fresh chives
oz.  VELVEETA®, cut up, divided
Tbsp.  KRAFT Grated Parmesan Cheese

Make It

BEAT potatoes, milk and butter until fluffy. Stir in chives and half of the VELVEETA.

SPOON into 1-quart casserole; sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.

BAKE at 350°F for 20 to 25 minutes or until heated through. Top with remaining VELVEETA; bake an additional 5 minutes or until VELVEETA begins to melt.

Serving Suggestion
Add contrast to the potatoes by serving with a crisp, mixed green salad and a serving of cooked lean fish, meat or poultry.
Special Extra
Add 1/2 tsp. dried rosemary leaves, crushed, to potato mixture before spooning into casserole.
How to Chop Herbs
Just place the leaves in a glass measuring cup or small bowl and cut them into tiny pieces with clean kitchen scissors, using short quick strokes.
