I make this with my Kindergarten children every year. However, I make a couple of changes: 1. I cut the ends with the peaks out of 2 full strips of cracker, 1 for each end. 2. I use a small milk container to "glue" the house sides onto using the icing.
Prior to putting the house sides on, I attach the milk carton to a piece of cardboard with hot glue. My class loves to make their own Gingerbread houses.
