I also added a jalapeno for some taste. It was awsome and my family loved it!!! The cream cheese really makes it smooth. Awsome recepe!!! I can not wait to make it again!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I liked the texture but not with the flavor of cream cheese. I liked the texture but not with the flavor of cream cheese. I use mayonaise when I make mine and use cayenne pepper to give it a little more zing and flavor. And if it lasts more than an hour keep stirring or put in air-tight container to prevent discoloring. (Plastic wrap flush w/guacamole)

Fresh cilantro is important. And the lime juice makes it authentic. Add salt if too bland. Use salty tortilla chips to dip with.

I made this recipe for a crowd and it was really good in flavor at first but, it turned kind of dark in less than an hour even though I added lemon juice. It looked bad and nobody would eat it because of that.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very easy to make! Very easy to make! Great as a dip, but it would probably be really good as a spread on a sandwich or burger. The cream cheese gives it a thicker consistency.
