  • Heat greased grill to medium-high heat.
  • Pierce potatoes with fork or small sharp knife; rub with oil.
  • Microwave potatoes on microwaveable plate on HIGH 8 min. or until tender, turning after 4 min. Transfer from plate to grate of grill.
  • Grill 12 to 15 min. or until potatoes are crisp and lightly browned, turning occasionally. Split potatoes. Serve topped with remaining ingredients.

Variation

Prepare using BREAKSTONE'S Reduced Fat or KNUDSEN Light Sour Cream, and KRAFT 2% Milk Shredded Cheddar Cheese.

Note

Microwaved potatoes can also be wrapped individually in foil. Grill 12 to 15 min. or until potatoes are tender, turning occasionally. Potatoes will be less crispy than when grilled without the foil.

Special Extra

Sprinkle potatoes with 1 tsp. salt after rubbing with oil. Continue as directed.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from These were decent, but nothing to rave about. These were decent, but nothing to rave about. I usually just "bake" mine in the microwave because it's much quicker. Putting them on the grill did make the skins crispy, but for my taste, it's not worth the extra step. Toppings were great, but I think I would have liked it just as well with the potatoes cooked only in the microwave.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is one of my favorite potato recipes. This is one of my favorite potato recipes. I use smaller red potatoes (for portion control) and I sprinkle the potatoes with sea salt after rubbing them with the oil. Simple but delicious!
