Always wash hands after handling raw meat. Never place cooked food on the same platter used for raw food - use a clean platter instead. Discard any leftover barbecue sauce that has been in contact with raw meat, fish or poultry.
For milder flavor, substitute ground beef for the chorizo.

LOVE this chili! Easy to make and is like no other chili I've ever tasted. Grill outside or on grill pan inside - both ways work well. Everyone who tries it asks me for the recipe. The BBQ sauce is hard to find - that's the only downfall. But when I find it, I buy a few bottles to keep on hand. Totally recommend it!
