  • Preheat greased grill to medium heat. Mix all ingredients except Thousand Island dressing until well blended.
  • Shape evenly into eight patties, using about 1/4 cup of the crab mixture for each patty; cover. Refrigerate 2 hours.
  • Grill patties 3 to 4 min. on each side or until firm and golden brown on both sides. Serve with the Thousand Island dressing.

I must say this one was very easy and these cakes didn't fall apart during cooking like others. However, my family and I didn't like them very much. We're all big crab lovers. But we could not taste the crab in these cakes at all! I used regular canned crabmeat instead of the LUMP. Therefore, that could have been my mistake. I tried mine with Thousand Island and also with Kraft Lemon & Herb Tarter Sauce. I liked the tarter sauce much better.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice, mild crab flavor. Nice, mild crab flavor. It's nice to actually taste the crab in a crab-cake. I was a little nervous about grilling them - thought they may be more prone to fall apart on the grill - but they turned out good. I did grill longer on each side (about 5 minutes/side). I diced-up green, yellow & red bell pepper & served as a garnish with thousand island dressing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from These were so good! These were so good! I did not grill them, as I didn't have time, but put them in the toaster oven instead. It took a bit longer to cook, but they were worth the wait! We also did not use the Thousand Island, they were good enough to eat plain.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from WOW - we loved this recipe. WOW - we loved this recipe. I didn't have enough crab so I used 8oz. of crab and 4oz. of shrimp and it turned out great. My husband said "what are you going to make to top this?" So this one is a winner in our book!
