  • Heat grill to medium heat.
  • Mix dry dressing mix and cheese in shallow dish.
  • Moisten chicken with water, then dip in dressing mixture, turning to evenly coat both sides of each piece.
  • Grill 6 to 8 min. on each side or until done (165°F).

Use Your Oven

Heat oven to 400°F. Coat chicken with dressing mixture as directed; place in single layer in shallow baking dish. Bake 20 to 25 min. or until chicken is done (165°F).

Cooking Know-How

The cheesy coating on the chicken will adhere better if you refrigerate the chicken for 30 min. before cooking.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Soooo good! Soooo good!A little on the salty side but still good. My boyfriend and I loved it, would just love it know how I could make it less salty. I used the whole packet of seasoning and it only covered 3 cutlets. I also brushed the cutlets lightly with mayo and then "breaded" them. (it helped the seasoning stick better) This will definitely become a go to recipe. P.S. Don't feel bad when your chicken looks nothing like the one pictured ;) Thanks Kraft!

We have five children and seven granchildern this recipe was a big hit with them, they all loved it , saved me alot time because we have a lot of family gatherings and it is hard to find a good quick recipe that appeals to all of us. There are few ings. which is a plus and very easy to prepare and the taste is great. I have used and will use this recipe over and over again.

I first made it with the Good Seasons Roasted Garlic salad dressing, but then the stores didn't carry it anymore. Now, I make it with the Good Seasons Garlic & Herb salad dressing - and it is just as wonderful! This is good enough to serve to company, and it is also good cold the next day for a chicken snack!

I used boneless, skinless chicken thighs instead - browned them in a skillet first, then brushed them with reduced-calorie mayo and rolled them in the garlic mixture. Then put them in the oven for 20 minutes, covered. They were tender and very, very flavorful. I'm eating the leftovers for lunch right now and they are just as good as last night.

I just wish I had made extra, but not knowing if it would be enoyed by all, I only made one piece for each of us, thinking perhaps the younger two kids wouldn't want it, and there would be extra anyway. I was wrong!. The young ones also loved it. I will definately be making this again.

Perfect for the quick "I just got home from a long day at work" meal! Cooking on the grill is also great for keeping the house cool in the hot summer-time weather! You all have got to try this!

I made with chicken fryer instead of boneless chicken and my 5 year old devoured it! I can imagine it would be great with the boneless chicken served with pasta or even chilled over a salad. This recipe is a definite keeper!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this recipe and make it often! I love this recipe and make it often! I keep the dressing on hand and can make it as a quick last minute supper. We have made it on the grill and in the oven. Either way the chicken is SO moist! I usually make extras to cut up and put on a salad for lunch the next day.
