Rated 4 out of 5 by from This was very good and got my husband wanting grilled him and cheese sandwiches again. This was very good and got my husband wanting grilled him and cheese sandwiches again. I had to make mine the night before for lunch the next day and have no grill at work, so I had to grill it ate home and pack it away in a bag lunch. It was great, and I'm sure it tastes even better freshly made. This may seem like a simple and obvious recipe, but at the very least, it serves as a reminder of classic favorites that families haven't eaten in a while.

Substitued cooked "Turkey" bacon for the ham and added slices of "bread & butter" pickles! Grilled it on a George Forman grill -- excellent sandwich! Makes a wonderful quick meal with cole slaw and a cup of "fat-free" yogurt for dessert.
