Prepare onion and wrap in foil as directed; place on baking sheet. Bake in 400ºF oven 45 min. or until onion is tender and lightly browned.
For a taste similar to French onion soup, sprinkle with KRAFT Shredded Mozzarella Cheese before wrapping with foil.
Sprinkle with 1 Tbsp. chopped fresh parsley before serving.

These were yummy!! My family loves grilled onions so I thought this would be something great to try!! I made 3 of them for 15+ people and they were gone!! I did one of the onions plain-with just some butter, salt and pepper. All of the onions were tender and juicy and SO GOOD!
Everyone enjoyed the recipe. We found that if you sprinked with a shredded cheese and rewrapped the foil for a moment the added cheese really enhanced the flavor. We also ran out of A1 so we had to substitute kraft barbecue sauce which was also well received by the crowd.
