Grilled Spinach-Alfredo Pizza

  • Heat grill to medium heat.
  • Cook and stir Alfredo sauce in medium saucepan on medium heat 4 to 5 min. or until heated through. Stir in spinach and crushed pepper. Remove from heat.
  • Divide pizza dough into 4 pieces. Roll each piece into 12-inch round on lightly floured surface. Brush evenly with half the oil. Place, oiled sides down, on grill grate. Grill 5 min. or until bottoms are golden brown and lightly charred. Brush with remaining oil; turn.
  • Top with spinach mixture, cheese, chicken and bacon. Grill 5 to 7 min. or until bottoms of crusts are golden brown and cheese is melted.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This pizza was awesome! This pizza was awesome! But beware, if you use a thin crust and the grill, keep the grill very low or it will be charred. It also helps to put it on a cookie sheet and watch carefully. Once the ingredients are added on the top, put once again on a sheet with heat on low or it will burn the bottom of your crust. (Learned by doing!) The flavors are wonderful together and I'll definitely make again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Yummy. Yummy. I didn't have propane in my tank so I couldn't grill it. I had to improvise and use my oven. It still came out very yummy. I cut back on the red pepper though. It gives it a good kick, but I'm not into very hot or spicy things. I also used garlic alfredo sauce. I think next time I'll add some onion and tomato and maybe even some broccoli!

I just followed the baking directions in the dough recipe, and just kept an eye on it while baking. I agree with the crushed red pepper comments - I cut the amount in half and it's still plenty!

I link that 10oz of spinach is too much, maybe about a hefty half box, but the alfredo sauce was definitely not enough. I use the entire jar. Everyone loved it and I will make it again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the recipe but the 1tsp of crushed red pepper was alot, very spicy/hot. Love the recipe but the 1tsp of crushed red pepper was alot, very spicy/hot. But it was good, I think next time I will sub the crushed red pepper for garlic :)
