  • Heat grill to medium-high heat.
  • Reserve 1/3 cup dressing. Brush remaining dressing onto steak and cut sides of peppers.
  • Place steak and peppers, dressing sides down, on grill grate. Grill 10 min. or until steak is medium doneness (160°F), turning steak after 5 min. (No need to turn peppers.) Meanwhile, cover 4 serving plates with salad greens; top with tomatoes and onions.
  • Cut steak across the grain into thin slices; cut peppers into strips. Arrange meat and peppers over salads. Drizzle with reserved dressing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This steak salad is AWESOME! This steak salad is AWESOME! What a surprise! I didn't expect much out of a bottled salad dressing, but I was soooooo wrong! I did marinate the steak in the fridge overnight with some of the dressing, 'cause I wanted it really tender -- and it was. Hubby said he wants me to fix it every week, despite the cost of the ribeye. It's WORTH it!

We made garlic bread to go with it and that added so much to the complete meal. Loved this and will make it again. I acutally marinated the meat in the dressing for about an hour and the meat was tender and wonderful. Added more flavor.

They thought that this rated in the top ten best meals fixed in this house and rated this among one of the top salads I've made. Superb, yes. Quick and light! It hit the spot! A keeper for sure.

Using the salad dressing to flavor the steak and peppers was good but not exciting. Perhaps we'd like a Zesty Italian or Sun Dried Tomato salad dressing better. We would prefer the sliced, grilled steak and peppers next to the salad, instead of on top.

It was really easy and tasted just great. My husband and neighbors just loved it. I told my mother about it and she couldn't find the recipe on the website so I forwarded it to her. He's a ranch-dressing kind of guy, but he thought the balsamic vinaigrette went really well with the steak and peppers. My favorite part was the grilled peppers. This salad is so full of flavor.

I grilled the onion and peppers seperately. I added some extra seasoned salt and pepper to the steak after taking it off the grill. My husband liked the crispness of the veggies. Will make this one again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I actually made this recipe last night. I actually made this recipe last night. It is the middle of July in Arkansas and this meal was not only filling but refreshing. I was able to use the vegetables from my garden which saved on money. Very delicious... I personally used too much dressing. Won't do that again!
