  • Mix tomato, onion, cilantro, pepper and garlic in medium bowl.
  • Halve avocados lengthwise; scoop out pulp. Add to tomato mixture in bowl. With spoon or fork, mash avocado while mixing with other ingredients.
  • Stir in juice and salt. Serve with warm flour tortillas, tortilla chips or assorted cut-up vegetables.

Food Facts

To prevent mixture from oxidizing and turning black, sink avocado pits into guacamole. Cover with plastic wrap pressed to surface. Hass variety avocados make great tasting guacamole.

Muy Rico, pero en realidad el huesito del aguacate no es necesario para que no se haga negro, solo con limón es suficiente y dura hasta 3 dias, cuando te sobre emparejalo y ponle una capita de jugo de limon natural y tapalo, verás como dura y sabe riquisimo. tambien puedes ponerle una cucharadita de salsa y tambien sabe rico, no recomiendo el ajo, solo un poquito en polvo.

I have never made guacamole before but have become to love it so I decided to make my own. This recipe was wonderful! I followed the recipe exactly and it delish! For those who leave out the jalepeno, it does not make it spicy at all if you remove all the seeds from it, it just adds flavor.

Yo hago el guacamol basicamente con los ingredientes de la lista de recetas, pero com cebollita verde picada, aceite de oliva extra virgen y con um poquito de orégano, ah! con um poco de jugo de limón, para que no se ponga e oscuro.

My finicky brother whose diet only consists of spaghetti and anything on the Chipotle Burrito company's menu said it was as good as Chipotle. I nix the jalepenos and it was still a winner!
