Rated 4 out of 5 by from I make a similar sandwich. I make a similar sandwich. Using soy pocket bread instead of wheat. Also, I remove all seeds from the cucumber and put the slices of cucumber in a food processor for a moment then fold the mixture into the sour cream and let it sit in the frig until needed. The cucumber flavor in the sour cream seems to blend everything together. I must admit I use grilled chicken breast slices which I marinate in Zesty Italian with chopped onion overnight instead of Boca Burgers but my fwife may like that option. Sliced tomatoes and shredded letuce finish it out. Our friends always ask us to make this when they visit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent! Excellent! Very light and tasty meal. The only thing different I did was add some dill weed, squeeze of lemon and salt and pepper to the cucumber sauce. Also added fresh chopped onions and stuffed it all inside the pita (cut in half), yum! I'm on Weight Watchers and this was a very filling and yummy meal for only 4 points!! My health conscious 19 year old daughter wants to have it again tonight!! I think we will!!!

I like regular gyro's but don't know how to make them, so when I tried this recipe I was very excited about it. My husband and I loved it!! To us it actually tasted like a real gyro. My husband didn't know the difference. It is quick and very easy to prepare. I now make them often. I added a small amount of ranch dressing to my sour cream for an extra little kick! It was great.

My husband is leary of meatless products so I was nervous making this but I shouldn't have been - he loved it. I used the Boca Flamegrilled patties and reduced fat sour cream which added a few calories but not many. I also added some black pepper and fresh oregano, basil and thyme to the sauce. It was great!

Add peppery arugula and it is a spicey, refreshing sandwich for those hot summer days!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I wasn't sure if I would like this or not. I wasn't sure if I would like this or not. I love gyros but somehow veggie burgers didn't seem like they would work. I was wrong. These were really good. I forgot the feta in the first half of my sandwich but it was great without it. I used FLAT OUT bread and it worked our perfect.

I liked this recipe, as it is healthy and gave me a chance as a vegetarian to eat a meal, not just a veggie burger on a bun. For those who are not partial to garlic, you might want to use only half a clove, but for me, it was perfect.
