VERY GOOD, VERY EASY The assembly was simple + my family really enjoyed = perfect recipe. I made 1/2 the loaf with Miracle Whip & the other w/out. For a mayo lover, I was surprised that I didn't prefer the mayo in it. Next time, I will make it w/out M.W. One hint, wrap tight & cut slits all the way through the top layer of dough. I didn't & the bread created a large air pocket inside, making for a less attractive presentation & the filling didn't hold into the cut pieces as I'd preferred, just messier.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great recipe, appealed to a large group of varied appetites. Great recipe, appealed to a large group of varied appetites. Since I was planning on feeding a large group I wanted to offer variety so I used this recipe as a starting point for various combination. The biggest hit was the Rueben variation with corned beef, sauerkraut, swiss and Thousand Island dressing. Be sure to drain the sauerkraut very well or you'll wind up with a soggy bottom. Very transport-friendly recipe...just wrap in double layer of aluminum foil, stayed warm for a good long time.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This was a hit at the party. This was a hit at the party. I only got one slice before it was gone. It was fairly easy to make. My DH doesn't like mayo or mw, but I used just a small amount of lite mayo to make the cheese spreadable. i also used colbyjack, that was all i had. I used a cheaper ham that was too salty. I did find the cheese and ham juices running out of the bread about half way. We kept cooking it and it completed nicely. Everyone who was able to get some of this enjoyed it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This came out exactly like it looked. This came out exactly like it looked. My whole family loved it. I used reduced fat mayo for a healthy alternative and it didn't compromise on the taste. I sprinkled some garlic and onion powder for added flavor and was fabulous. I like the idea of the many variations for this recipe. I think next time I will use american cheese to make it creamier. I can't wait to make this for parties. Definitely a new favorite in the house!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I made this last year and just now found the recipe again. I made this last year and just now found the recipe again. My kids and I love this sandwich! We made it exactly as the recipe says. Hubby doesn't like it, but that's ok because it leaves more for us. I use the biggest package of refrigerated dough that I can find, usually 13oz, and it works out pefect. We've even went as far as to make Italian ones with mozzarella cheese, pizza sauce, pepperonis, and some veggies.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from We loved this despite some alterations that I had to make. We loved this despite some alterations that I had to make. I used Pillsbury pizza dough instead and I substituted 1/4 cup mayo mixed with some dijon mustard instead of the Miracle Whip. It was great. My kids are suggesting that next time I use the same theory only substitute pepperoni, mozzarella and pasta sauce. Also, with the Pillsbury dough, I only needed to bake it for little over 30 minutes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Game Day Treat. Excellent Game Day Treat. I've also made these into "meatball subs". They are "Wonderful". This game day, I'm making these with Ham, Loraine Swiss and Black & Green Olive Salad/Spread, my game day version of the New Orleans Muffuletta. Also, Philly-Cheese Steak with grilled peppers and lots of grilled onions, with Steak Sauce and Mustard Dipping Sauce. Yummm...
