Rated 5 out of 5 by from My family has used a variation of this recipe for years. My family has used a variation of this recipe for years. We wrap a dill pickle in the center though. It is awesome this way. I know it doesn't sound like it would be, but it is way better than the chives or green onions as some people use. Buy medium sized dill pickels and after spreading the ham with cream cheese, put the pickle at one end and roll up. Put it in the frig for a couple hours or overnight is ideal and then cut into slices. SO GOOD! They will be one of the first things to go at your next party. Great as a snack too.

Instead of chives, she mixes garlic in with the cream cheese..the more garlic, the better. And no ritz crackers. She just puts a toothpick in them and sticks a green olive on the toothpick also. I look forward to these every christmas...it's the one time of year she makes them now, mainly because my sister and I hang around and eat them as soon as they are made!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from My mom and I have been making these for years. My mom and I have been making these for years. To make it even better, we roll up some with green onions and some with small dill pickle spears. TASTES SINFULLY WONDERFUL!!! Everyone asks us to make them, and they have their own personal favorite - onion or pickle. I love them both. (OMIT THE CRACKERS - YUK!)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great flavor. Great flavor. I actually put the pinwheels on cucmber slices for a lower-cal, fresh and crunchy alternative to crackers. Served at a Superbowl party and was a hit even with the men! Use low fat or fat free cream cheese with chives already mixed in!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I have made this receipe many times. I have made this receipe many times. However, I don't use chives. I put a whole piece of pickled okra in the center before slicing the pinwheels and I don't put them on crackers. My family loves them. I have to make a double batch now.

They were gone within 5 minutes!
