Ratings & Reviews

Rated 2 out of 5 by from When seeing the mixed reviews, I had to try this. When seeing the mixed reviews, I had to try this. Since it's morning, I went ahead and made it instead of my usual coffee, and it's just OK. Not disgusting, as some said, and not really good either. It's like...pouring some apple juice into your cup of coffee. Not overwhelming apple-y but subtle, it's just a weird mix. I topped it off with some whipped cream, but it's just blah. I'll not finish a second cup. For those asking what to do with the brown sugar, it does say in the instructions to put it in the pot with the cider...you don't brew it, it just blends as the coffee drips into the pot!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I just tried this, figuring that since I like all the ingredients, the combination would be good. I just tried this, figuring that since I like all the ingredients, the combination would be good. It was horrible, and I ended up pitching it. I was surprised, and disappointed. And, for the record, I made this recipe with exactly the ingredients and amounts as stated--except, I didn't know what to do with the brown sugar (I added it to the apple cider). Yuck! I can't believe so many people liked this.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I wasn't sure what to expect with all of the mixed reviews. I wasn't sure what to expect with all of the mixed reviews. I actually liked it. I didn't love it but I think that is because I used Hazelnut coffee so maybe too many flavors going on. I will try it again with regular coffee. I used apple juice instead of cider and honey instead of brown sugar.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This recipe is similar to one Kraft had in their Food & Family magazine a few years ago. This recipe is similar to one Kraft had in their Food & Family magazine a few years ago. It did not include Apple Cider as an ingredient. If you did not like it as "Harvest Coffee Cider", try omitting the cider. I made this for Thanksgiving (sans cider-the original recipe) and it was a huge hit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from EXCELLENT! EXCELLENT! My taste buds have died and gone to Java Heaven!! :-) Tried it with the Pumpkin Pie Spice and Hazelnut coffee...YUUUUMMMMY!!! Reminds me of wassail with a hint of coffee flavor thrown in to make it extra good! Would be GREAT for a holiday drink!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I'm sorry, but I didn't like this! I'm sorry, but I didn't like this! With the combination of coffee & apple cider, made this taste bitter. For those who want to try this recipe, I'd suggest decreasing the amt of coffee. I thought a 1/4 cup of ground coffee was a bit much.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I was surprise at how good this recipe really was. I was surprise at how good this recipe really was. I thought it would taste horrible. It is very sweet! I did think it could use some spice though. I wonder how it would be if you put a few whole colves in the basket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So quick, so easy, so good. So quick, so easy, so good. I love this coffee. I've made it several times now and it's ALWAYS good. Sometimes I serve it with a cinnamon stick and a dollop of whipped topping. EXCELLENT!
