As hot dog "recipes" go, this one is pretty good. A refreshing twist. I liked the combination of green onion & pineapple. I assembled mine earlier in the day, so the flavors had time to come together well. And mayo on a dog? It worked! I paired this with the Hawaiian fruit salad. Obvious, I know, but good. I used chicken dogs, but I think this would also be good with a smoked hot dog or sausage! At our next cook out, I will a bacon, mayo (olive oil based), and pineapple & onion to the standard ketchup, mustard, & relish offerings for toppings.
