Hearty Grilled Cheese Recipe

What You Need

slices multi-grain bread

2

tsp. MIRACLE WHIP Dressing

1

KRAFT Singles

4

slices OSCAR MAYER Deli Fresh Smoked Turkey Breast

1

thin slice red onion

2

tsp. soft margarine

Make It

SPREAD bread slices with dressing; fill with Singles, turkey and onion.

SPREAD outside of sandwich with margarine.

COOK in skillet on medium heat 3 min. on each side or until golden brown on both sides.

Serve this toasted sandwich with a hot bowl of creamy tomato soup.

Substitute

Prepare using KRAFT 2% Milk Singles.

instead of frying place in George Forman grill, cook both sides at once. Option 2, cut calories by cooking in toaster oven, no margarine needed. Also add tomato.

I added a slice of tomatoe and bean sprouts to the sandwich. OMG, great.

Many years ago I started "toasting" my grilled cheese sandwiches. I toast the bread, place the cheese and any othe ingredients I want on it, and place it in the microwave just long enough to melt the cheese. I like these better than the grilled.

For a truely comforting tomatoe soup, I replace a can of water with a can of milk. Rich flavor plus added nutrition. Supper Soup for Supper,,,,,"ENJOY"!!

Have made this twice now. My son and I have both had this. my husband and daughter tried a little the second time I made it and found out they liked it made that way also. Definetly a better way to make grilled cheese. Love it!

My boyfriend and I loved this sandwich, however, next time I will use a little less onion.
