Rated 4 out of 5 by from This was great... This was great... I actually purchased my ingredients and then left the recipe at the office. However, I made the shells according to the box and added the broccoli to the boiling water, I browned the sausage separately and then once I drained the shells, I tossed everything into the pot where I had cooked the shells, including the tomatoes. I even added a bit of velveeta cheese to make it cheesier. My 5 year old son LOVED it!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I have to admit this dish was ..... I have to admit this dish was ..... well, unusual. The combination of flavors was not something I would have thought of without help, but it was not bad. I will make this again because it was a good, quick, and complete meal for those nights when the family seems to be eating in shifts, or before a soccer game, etc. I made the lower fat version and it was good.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Very easy to make, only used one large skillet which made cleanup easy. Very easy to make, only used one large skillet which made cleanup easy. My family really liked it and the kids like it because of the mac n'cheese, and the vegetables make it nutritious so you don't feel guilty serving it. I used a can of seasoned diced tomatoes with oregano, basil, and garlic instead of the tsp of italian seasoning...will make this again.

Yes, I modified this recipe to what I had on hand, but I suspect that I would not have liked this even if I had followed the recipe exactly. I didn't have Velveeta Shells and Cheese dinner so I used cooked shells and then a bag of shredded sharp cheddar. I also didn't have Italian Seasoning so I used some mixed spice jar that I have.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from BLEACK! BLEACK! Everything looked & smelled good until I added the Velveeta cheese packet. Me & my kids thought it totally overwhelmed all the other flavors. If (& that's a BIG if) I make this again, I will add 1/2 the cheese... or maybe even forget the shells and cheese altogether and make it with rice instead.

I have to double many of these recipes because of our large family---in numbers...not size:)Our whole family enjoyed this recipe--the only thing I would do next time is double everything except the tomatoes...they were a little overpowering...but overall excellent and easy!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The first time I made this dish. The first time I made this dish. I used the Italian seasoning and it was to spicy. The seasoning made it taste very bland. So I made it a second time with out the seasoning and it tasted alot better. So I recommend not using the seasoning in this dish.
