What You Need

1/2

lb. smoked sausage, such as kielbasa, sliced

can (14-1/2 oz.) diced tomatoes, undrained

1-1/2

cups water

tsp. Italian seasoning

pkg. (12 oz.) VELVEETA Shells & Cheese Dinner

cups broccoli florets

Make It

COOK sausage in large skillet on medium-high heat 5 min. or until evenly browned, stirring occasionally; drain.

STIR in tomatoes, water and seasoning. Bring to boil. Add Shells; cover. Simmer 7 min., stirring occasionally.

ADD broccoli; cook 5 min. or until crisp-tender. Stir in Cheese Sauce until well blended.

OMG fantastic!!! Only thing I did different is I cooked the noodles separately and used a can of diced tomatoes with green chilies (ro-tel). next time i will use a mild green chili ro-tel but it was yummy with the spice!!! Wow!!! delish!!

Made as written except I used Turkey Pepper Jack Sausage. Very tasty and super easy. Will definitely make again.

Yes, I modified this recipe to what I had on hand, but I suspect that I would not have liked this even if I had followed the recipe exactly. I didn't have Velveeta Shells and Cheese dinner so I used cooked shells and then a bag of shredded sharp cheddar. I also didn't have Italian Seasoning so I used some mixed spice jar that I have.

This dish has become my easy, go-to meal. I skip putting the broccoli in, but often serve it steamed as a side dish with this. Yum! My family loves it.
