Rated 4 out of 5 by from We absolutely loved this sandwich. We absolutely loved this sandwich. Unbelievably, one quarter (which looks way too small to fill anyone up) actually fills you up, even my husband! I think next time I'll try using a softer bread (we used an italian loaf) as it was a bit crunchy and we'll use sweet onions as well. Overall, a fabulous recipe though!

I would suggest that it should state in recipie: fresh spinach ONLY. I used frozen spinach and it did not stay together very well (I was not home, but visiting).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great sandwich. Great sandwich. Have given the recipe to many friends. Would be good with ham also. I used rye bread and it was difficult to cut, probably should have used electric knife.
