Hearty Tuscan Pasta Primavera

A special blend of herbs gives this pasta primavera hearty Tuscan flavor.

What You Need

2-2/3
cups  penne pasta, uncooked

Tbsp.  olive oil
1
lb.  boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-size pieces
1
 red pepper, cut into thin strips
1/2
cup  thin zucchini slices
2
cups  loosely packed baby spinach leaves
1/4
cup  KRAFT Grated Parmesan Cheese

Make It

COOK pasta as directed on package, omitting salt.

MEANWHILE, heat oil in large skillet on medium heat. Add chicken; cook and stir 8 to 10 min. or until done. Add peppers and zucchini; cook and stir 4 min. or until crisp-tender. Add spinach; cook and stir until wilted.

DRAIN pasta. Add to skillet. Sprinkle with cheese.

Preparing Perfect Pasta
Follow the package directions to ensure that enough water is used for cooking the pasta. Add the pasta to the boiling water and cook until al dente (tender but still a little firm to the bite), stirring frequently. To prevent pasta from sticking, add it slowly to plenty of boiling water and stir frequently while cooking. Adding oil to the cooking water is not recommended because some sauces may not cling to pasta coated with oil.
