Heavenly Ambrosia in a Cloud

A very picky kid loved this recipe. I couldn't believe how simple it was to make, and you can change things up with ingredients in your fridge (fruit, nuts). I didn't think it would keep well with the fruit and cool-whip, but I was wrong. A couple days later it tasted just as good as the first night.

Delicious! This is as simple as it gets... very inexpensive too! I often do fresh fruit for parties but it's a nice way to bring a fruit dish somewhere without spending much. I stirred in the Cool Whip and added Maraschino cherries (which I think I'll leave out next time actually). Simple but great!

I am in heaven with this recipe! I LOVE ambrosia, and there are so many ways to makeing it, but this my absolute FAVORITE! mmm!

Made this for the first time today for a baby shower and was a big hit

I added some Marciano Cocktail Cherries (cut in half) for a wonderful added flavor and COLOR!

YOU CAN ALSO USE THE FLAVORED MINI MARSHMALLOWS THE WORK ALITTLE BETTER BUT THIS RECIPE IS AWESOME, MY ENTIRE FAMILY JUST LOVED IT AND ITS EASY TO MAKE, I REALLY DID ENJOY MAKING AND SERVING THIS RECIPE, THANKS AGAIN...

Quick and easy! It tasted better to me on the second day??!! Would be good to make for a potluck. I doubled the batch (because I didn't think it would be enough for our family of five), and was sorry I had done that, because it was way too much, but, most of it eventually got eaten, because we decided to forgo another side dish for extra helpings of this?!

I have always wanted to make ambrosia, but never found a a quick and easy recipe until now. I used the lowfat coolwhip instead and it still was so sweet and delicious. Thanks
