Rated 4 out of 5 by from I have been using this recipe for a long time. I have been using this recipe for a long time. I have also changed it by using a large tub of fat-free cool whip, 2 packs of Jello white chocolate sugar free instant pudding, 1 large can of drained mandarin oranges, 1 large can of crushed pineapple in its own juice - and the marshmallows, coconut and nuts --very good ( mix the instant pudding with the crushed pineapple and juice , it will be thick, then add to recipe). Mix the cool whip with all of the ingredients instead of lining the bowl with it. Follow the classic ambrosia listed below in the Kraft tips

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I have been ****** what we call Pineapple Delight. I have been ****** what we call Pineapple Delight. A large can of pineapple with juices, a jar of cherries, cut in half, 1 bag of small marshmallows and a container of Cool Whip. Been doing this for years. I love the oranges and will try this one adding cherries. This dessert is always so good the next day too. It gives the marshmallows time to soften up. Great and easy recipe and so good for summertime as well as the holidays. I always use this for special times and my whole family love it and are always asking me to make it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is a great light summer dessert/salad. This is a great light summer dessert/salad. I know it by another name "Hawaiian Delight", my mother has been making this for years under that name. I make it in a small (6-pk) insulated cooler (with a chilled lid) to take to outdoor gatherings. It stays cold, holds a lot and is always a hit. Another plus, no one ever wants to steal a small cooler that they have to take home and wash out.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Quick and easy! Quick and easy! It tasted better to me on the second day??!! Would be good to make for a potluck. I doubled the batch (because I didn't think it would be enough for our family of five), and was sorry I had done that, because it was way too much, but, most of it eventually got eaten, because we decided to forgo another side dish for extra helpings of this?!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A very picky kid loved this recipe. A very picky kid loved this recipe. I couldn't believe how simple it was to make, and you can change things up with ingredients in your fridge (fruit, nuts). I didn't think it would keep well with the fruit and cool-whip, but I was wrong. A couple days later it tasted just as good as the first night.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I mixed everything (except cool whip) n a zip bag to allow the flavors to marinade. I mixed everything (except cool whip) n a zip bag to allow the flavors to marinade. Just before serving, I put the cool whip in a freezer bowl (you know the ones that have the liquid fill to keep things cold) then added the bagged ingredients. It was fantastic ... and stayed colder longer on the buffet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Delicious! Delicious! This is as simple as it gets... very inexpensive too! I often do fresh fruit for parties but it's a nice way to bring a fruit dish somewhere without spending much. I stirred in the Cool Whip and added Maraschino cherries (which I think I'll leave out next time actually). Simple but great!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this combination of fruits! I love this combination of fruits! Delicious and cool for a warm day. Also love how the cream is lining the bowl. Some people I serve don't care for cream and they can just scooop out the fruit leaving more cream for the rest of us. Wonderful salad or dessert!
