7 year turned thumbs down on carrot cake so we just did a white cake. And too many don't like coconut, so just did the white icing, and used pink icing for cheeks and inner ears. Mine looks nothing like this, but considering it's for a 7 and 3 year old, they'll love it.
I made this cake for Easter last year. A fun, cute addition to Easter dinner. Simple to do. We will be having this again this year, I'm sure.
Great design idea - easy to recreate, but I thought the icing was way too sweet and a bit on the runny side. I added coconut flakes to the icing to thicken it up a bit. It was ok, but I'd do something to lessen the sweetness on the icing if I were to make it again.
