You might want to try adding 1/2 to 3/4 cup of half & half or heavy ***** (along with the sour *****), for moistness. And instead of cracker crumbs, make 1/4 cup of your own bread crumbs mixed with 1 T. of melted butter plus a pinch of onion salt or garlic salt.
I generally use hot sauce rather than the cayenne -- and make it even more delightful by adding a good sized chunk of creem cheese along with the sour ***** and extra cheese. And also, MORE cheese, usually Kraft Triple Cheddar. :D No one ever realizes it's out of a box. :) I never realized this page CENSORS ingredients made by other companies. Boo hiss. Do NOT skimp on the cheese or sour *****, do NOT overbake! Maybe your dish is too large?
