Rated 5 out of 5 by from These are very good...delicious. These are very good...delicious. They are actually surprisingly good, especially for being homemade. But, as others have observed, you have to use common sense in how you cut the chicken so that it is not too thick to cook through and also so that it does not overcook if too thin. Also, you'd be amazed what you can find in the kitchen as dipping sauces besides barbeque sauce...honey, mustard, miracle whip, mayonaise, ketchup, butter, horseradish sauce, etc. These are worth trying, and they are totally worth experimenting with until you master the right-size nugget. Give them a try, but don't give up if you don't get it right the first time. They are worth it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Have been making these for ages! Have been making these for ages! I dip the chicken pieces in an egg/milk mixture and use way more ShakeN'Bake to insure complete coating. Always good and always a crowd pleaser...in fact the crowd will ask for these to be made! For variety use the different flavors of ShakeN'Bake and have many types of dipping sauces....the crowd will roar their approval!! Oh!You will need to make a BIG batch of these as they are just as good if not better later on..and the family will thank you too! :)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very good! Very good! Very easy, very quick, a winning combination! I used the Parmesan cheese variation, though it was hard to tell. I also substituted the extra crunchy shake and bake, which was okay. You really need to wet them to get the mix to stick. I put a little Oregano into the mix and that really did a lot for them. Definitely going to be making these again.

We had mashed potatoes, rolls and a mix of broccoli, cauliflower a carrots. We dipped them in honey mustard sauce and barbeque sauce. I didn't find any need to dip it in the water because the chicken was already moist.

I added some Garlic Garnee and cajun seasonong to the mixture and that gave it a little kick. I definetely would prepare this meal again. Thanks for all the great recipes , keep them coming, my family loves fast and easy meals.

To add more flavor, I tossed the chicken in Italian dressing first, instead of water and then mixed the chicken with the shake and bake. Adds TONS of flavor and you could do that with any dressing you like.

I have also made this recipe using ground chicken, the breading sticks quite nice to it. I would just use a tablespoon to scoop the ground chicken into small balls and roll in the breading and then press them on a baking sheet to flatten them out a bit. Very easy and tasty!

When I've used breast meat they are sometimes dry...I may over cook them but no problems with thigh meat. All yummy and much healthier than fast food or frozen nuggets! Plus the kids love to shake the bag!
