    Very tasty made the dish as written. Had a few friends over at the time every body enjoyed it.

    I add salt and cracked black pepper to taste and use a full 2 lbs of potatoes. For a variation I have added a jar of drained sauerkraut and also tried the beer. This makes enough for the 2 of us for 2 meals but no way does it serve 6.
