These scrumptious homemade muffins are laced with crunchy oat and honey cereal. Serve them as part of a breakfast or as a snack.

cups  flour
1/2
cup  sugar

Tbsp.  CALUMET Baking Powder
1/4
tsp.  salt
1
 egg
1
cup  milk
1/3
cup  butter or margarine, melted
1-1/2
cups  honey-flavored multi-grain cereal flakes with oat clusters, any variety

Make It

PREHEAT oven to 400°F. Mix flour, sugar, baking powder and salt in large bowl. Beat egg in small bowl; stir in milk and butter. Add to flour mixture; stir just until moistened. (Batter will be lumpy.) Stir in cereal.

SPOON batter into greased or paper-lined muffin pan, filling each cup 2/3 full.

BAKE 20 min. or until golden brown. Serve warm.

Variation
Prepare and bake muffins as directed. Mix 1 can (11 oz.) mandarin orange segments, drained; 1 can (8 oz.) crushed pineapple, well drained; and 1 large banana, sliced, in medium bowl. Split 6 baked muffins horizontally in half. Cover bottom halves with 1 tub (8 oz.) COOL WHIP Whipped Topping, thawed, and fruit mixture. Top with muffin tops. Garnish with additional COOL WHIP and toasted BAKER'S ANGEL FLAKE Coconut. Makes 6 servings.
