Rated 4 out of 5 by from My family has a variation of this dip at every holiday gathering. My family has a variation of this dip at every holiday gathering. We omit the mushrooms in lieu of green peppers, add 1 cup sour cream, onion flakes and garlic powder (just 1/2- 1 tsp. of each according to preference) and reduce the milk in the recipe to 4 Tbsp and skip the parsley. I heat mine in the microwave in my mini crockpot insert and then keep it hot that way. I serve mine with Wheat Thins (any variety).

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Recipe was good, but probably better with pumpernickel as opposed to the french bread. Recipe was good, but probably better with pumpernickel as opposed to the french bread. Also possibly toast. Kind of reminds of that packaged stuff "blank" on a shingle. It was good, but will probably make if for Christmas and serve with pumpernickel bread.
