Rated 4 out of 5 by from I made this for New Year's Eve. I made this for New Year's Eve. It was amazing, I will definitely be making it again. I would have given it five stars, however I made a few alterations of my own. I used fresh crab versus the canned, as the recipe calls for, and it made a world of difference. I also added extra hot pepper sauce. The horseradish and hot pepper sauce that the recipe calls for are understated and it could use a little more. Even with the additional hot pepper sauce, it was far from spicy. It just really enhanced the flavor.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I made this for New Year's Eve. I made this for New Year's Eve. At first I thought it was a little bland, so I made it more like a Crab Rangoon filling - I added some lite soy sauce, garlic powder and worstchire sauce before the mixing. And then before baking it, I sprinkled on some paparika and more garlic powder. I served it with baked wonton skins - cut in triangles, spray with Pam or like, and sprinkle parmesan cheese & garlic powder on and cook on cookie sheet at 350 for about 5 minutes. Yummy!

I agree with adding more horseradish and a bit more green onion as the first time baked was bland. I decorated mine with a fine dice of green and red bell peppers around the rim after it was baked. Very festive for a Christmas party. I assembled recipe before and at my host's house baked same and added peppers afterward

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This recipe was great. This recipe was great. However, I thought it was a bit too cream cheesy...so I basically doubled every other part but the cream cheese and added some garlic salt. It broke the texture up. It fed 11 adults and 3 kids, but there was none left after that. I served with wheat thins and garlic pita chips! BIG HIT

A found this dip about 6 years ago and find myself reaching for it whenever I have a family get-together. It is easy to make and easy to alter to personal taste. I like to add more hot sauce than indicated. I will try the Bay Seasoning too as it is a little bland otherwise. An excellent dip.

Some of theguest protested that they had never eaten a crab dip that they liked. These same people were the ones scraping the bowl at the end of the evening!
