  • Heat oven to 375ºF.
  • Cook and stir onions, carrots and peppers in hot oil in large skillet on medium 4 min. or until crisp-tender. Stir in next 3 ingredients.
  • Place pasta in 8-inch square baking dish; cover with sauce and cheeses.
  • Bake 10 to 15 min. or until pasta mixture is heated through and cheeses are melted.

Variation

To prepare on the stove top, prepare sauce in large saucepan as directed; stir in cooked pasta. Top with cheeses; cover. Cook on medium-low heat 3 min. or until cheeses are melted.

Shortcut

Substitute 1/2 cup packaged pre-shredded carrots for the shredded whole carrot.

    When my kids asked for hotdogs and pasta (again), I cringed. But this recipe makes hotdogs and pasta delicious! I would have liked it as is - its not too saucy - but my kids ended up adding pasta sauce to the fished dish. This will go into dinner rotation from now on...
