Rated 4 out of 5 by from My aunt has made this bread for several family gatherings and it is so good! My aunt has made this bread for several family gatherings and it is so good!! We have actually fought over it and there is never any left. One thing is that you have to eat it quicky before the cheese cools off to much or it just coagulates. Not very good but a few seconds in the microwave and then dig in. My aunt has also done the bread without the onion for those who do not like it and it still tastes pretty good but I like the one with the onion the best. I'm making myself hungry for it right now!! :-P

Rated 4 out of 5 by from i had to improvise because i didnt have a fresh loaf of italian bread like the recipe called for. i had to improvise because i didnt have a fresh loaf of italian bread like the recipe called for. i just had plain white bread. when i took it out of the oven the bread was all smooshed together and it would fall apart when i tried to take a slice off. i understand that this was my fault though. even though it didn't turn out properly, due to my mistakes, it still had a great flavor. i will definitely make this again, the right way! lol! it goes perfect with the spaghetti and meatball dinner i made.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I tried this tonight and it was great! I tried this tonight and it was great!!! It was a great choice b/c my mom is picky and me being pregnant I can taste everything. It hit the spot with the pasta entree I fixed. Not to forget the butter/cheese sauce was very easy to spread on. Tip: sometimes when you don't have a loaf of bread you can just use what you have around the house like potato bread or rolls and do the same thing and it turns out great....( take it from one who has tried it and it was delicious!!!)

I'm a college student and I made this for a pot luck my friends and I have once a month. I followed the directions exactly except I used french bread. All of my friends thought it was so great it's pretty much a staple at our pot lucks now :) It was so easy to make too

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This was great! This was great! I used French bread, light margarine, low-fat italian cheese blend, 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder and 1 teaspoon dried parsley flakes. It was awesome, a little messy to make, but so worth it. The leftovers were delicious heated in the microwave the next day

Rated 2 out of 5 by from This recipe looked and sounded good, but is much more diffucult to make. This recipe looked and sounded good, but is much more diffucult to make. Cheese mixture is difficult to spread and bread is difficult to divide neatly when served. It would be easier to cut the bread into full slices and use the cheese spread in individual slices.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I made this for our Super Bowl Party and it was a success! I made this for our Super Bowl Party and it was a success! Everyone loved it and ate it all! This was an easy recipe too! I did go ahead and slice the bread completely, it was easier to spread the cheese and butter that way.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is soooo good! This is soooo good! I also use a lighter coating of this on sub rolls when making meatball subs. It adds a little bit of Italian flair when you add a little olive oil into the mixture and is superb.
