Rated 5 out of 5 by from I really like this; had a cup this morning. I really like this; had a cup this morning. I seem to sleep better if I have a hot drink before bed and I will have a cup of this low-cal tonight. I thought a half teaspoon might not be enough, but I usually follow a recipe's directions and make changes later if I need to. But it was very flavorful just the way it is. I will keep this on hand. I am also going to make a quart, let it cool, and then refrigerate it to see if I like it with ice.

I was looking on here for a chai type tea recipe b/c it's getting cold outside and I needed a hot drink! I found this & just now tried it. It is good! It tastes more like a mulled cider than tea to me, though. Also, I omitted the cloves since I didn't have any and it is just fine. I thought 1/2 tsp for 3/4 cup water was way too strong, though. I like the idea of trying other flavors, too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I have gestational diabetes, and really miss my warm drinks on cold mornings. I have gestational diabetes, and really miss my warm drinks on cold mornings. I usually make Hot Almond Orange Juice for my family, but it is so high in sugar and carbs that I haven't this fall. I found this recipe and with a substitution of Crystal Light Sunrise for the tea, it tastes almost the same, and is very good and satisfying. I love it!
