Individual OREO Cheesecakes

These easy mini cheesecakes, made with cream cheese, sour cream and chopped chocolate sandwich cookies, are baked in muffin cups.

What You Need

pkg. (8 oz. each) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened

3/4

cup sugar

cup BREAKSTONE'S or KNUDSEN Sour Cream

tsp. vanilla

eggs

OREO Cookies, divided

1-1/2

cups thawed COOL WHIP Whipped Topping

fresh strawberries, cut into 4 slices each

Make It

HEAT oven to 350°F.

BEAT cream cheese and sugar in large bowl with mixer until blended. Add sour cream and vanilla; mix well. Add eggs, 1 at a time, mixing on low speed after each just until blended. Coarsely chop 15 cookies; stir into batter.

SPOON into 24 foil- or paper-lined muffin pan cups.

BAKE 30 to 35 min. or until centers are set. Cool completely. Refrigerate several hours or until chilled.

CHOP remaining cookies. Top cheesecakes with COOL WHIP, strawberries and chopped cookies just before serving.

I made these for a potluck at work and everyone loved them. There were none leftover after the potluck.

I had this recipe for a while and finally made it yesterday to bring for the lunch with friends today. I made few with star shapes cups, and my kids couldn't wait for them to chill! They loved it:) It also made a nice presentation. Can't wait to test on my friends!

I made these except I did not add the oreo in the batter. You can make these more versatile by putting a half of an oreo cookie or vanilla wafer flat side down in the line before adding batter to give you a cheesecake 'crust.' Because oreo was not in the batter I added different toppings like caramel, strawberry pie filling, and butterfinger/coolwhip. That way no matter what someone's favorie cheesecake is they can be satisfied!

It takes along time from start to finish to get these in your mouth, but the wait is SO WORTH IT. I am a huge cheesecake fan and this is a new favorite, they were delicious. The recipe was really easy to follow. I will definitely make again.

This was a very good recipe and I like that you can play around with the ingredients to adjust the flavor to your liking. This is a great idea for parties and events of that nature.

Turned out AWESOME! When I went to the store to buy the ingredients, they were sold out of strawberries, so I didn't use them.. but I think it would have made the recipe taste twice as good had I!

Easy to make and definitely worth the time! Try it with one of the flavored Oreo's, even better!
