Individual Taco Pizzas

These double-decker pizzas use tortillas, refried beans, taco-seasoned ground beef and Cheddar in place of Italian ingredients for authentic Southwest flavor.

What You Need

lb. ground beef

pkg. (16.33 oz.) TACO BELL® HOME ORIGINALS® Soft Taco Dinner

can (16 oz.) TACO BELL® HOME ORIGINALS® Refried Beans

1-1/4

cups KRAFT Mexican Style Shredded Cheese

large tomato, chopped

cup BREAKSTONE'S or KNUDSEN Sour Cream

Make It

PREHEAT oven to 400°F. Cook meat with Taco Seasoning Mix as directed on package.

SPREAD each of 5 of the Tortillas with 2 Tbsp. of the beans, 1/4 cup of the seasoned meat and 2 Tbsp. of the cheese; top with second tortilla and additional layers of beans, meat and cheese. Sprinkle with tomatoes. Place on baking sheet.

BAKE 8 to 10 min. or until pizzas are heated through and cheese is melted. Top with Salsa and sour cream.

I really enjoyed eating this recipe. I like the Taco Bell Pizzas but they're too expensive for what they are. My picky little son even ate his portion quickly so we'll make it again. I will, however, crisp up the tortillas before adding the toppings and baking. Crispier tortillas would have made it a superb recipe. Oh--and I added some homemade salsa as a topping and it was good.

We love the combo of the taco bell seasoning and taco meat.We use it for lots of dishes. I LOVE that it doesnt taste like taco bell. This was a great and super fast and easy rendition on our family favorite. We'll make it many times a month.

YUMMY, For the meat instead of ground beef, I used a can of shreded chicken and added taco seasoning, It was wonderful and everyone got to make there on taco pizza for dinner, a perfct family dinner night

I have made this recipe a number of times, as a matter of fact I am making them for dinner tonight. Our 16 year old granddaughter requested these for dinner. Thank you Kraft for this and all your great recipes.

I am sure this is a great recipe but I knew it would be a little bland for my family so I spiced it up a bit. We added a layer of Taco bell taco sauce in the middle and on top. I added onion, lettuce and sour cream on top. It was delicious! Also, you can cook the shells for a few minutes before putting your toppings on and in them. This gives it a bit more of a crunch.

I don't think its quite as good as Taco Bells But could be a slight close 2nd but i think next time i going to try shredded chicken and i also think i might try cooking the shells after being put together in the broiler to crisp them up better.
