Not all hummus is made with chickpeas! Try this tasty black bean hummus appetizer topper. With a dab of sour cream and fresh veggies, it's glorious.

What You Need

Tbsp.  olive oil
1
cup  chopped red onions
1
 jalapeño pepper, seeded, finely chopped
1
can  (15 oz.) black beans, rinsed
1/4
cup  cilantro
1
tsp.  lime zest
2
Tbsp.  fresh lime juice
1/2
tsp.  hot pepper sauce

 RITZ Crackers
1/2
cup  BREAKSTONE'S or KNUDSEN Sour Cream
1/2
cup  finely chopped red peppers
1/2
cup  finely chopped avocados

Make It

HEAT oil in small skillet on medium heat. Add onions and jalapenos; cook and stir 5 min. or until crisp-tender. Cool slightly.

TRANSFER onion mixture to blender. Add next 5 ingredients; blend until smooth.

TOP crackers with bean mixture, sour cream, red peppers and avocados. Serve immediately.

Variation
For a change of pace, spread bean mixture into 9-inch circle on platter; cover wtih sour cream, leaving border at edge. Top with red peppers and avocados. Surround with crackers.
