Italian Cottage Dip Recipe

What You Need

container (16 oz.) BREAKSTONE'S or KNUDSEN 2% Milkfat Low Fat Cottage Cheese

2

Tbsp. milk

1

env. GOOD SEASONS Italian Dressing Mix

Make It

BLEND cottage cheese and milk in blender until smooth.

SPOON into medium bowl. Stir in dressing mix; cover.

REFRIGERATE several hours or until chilled. Serve with assorted NABISCO Crackers and fresh vegetable dippers.

I tried this as an alternative to sour cream. I would have to say that if you are used to a sour cream based dip this recipe will not satisfy.

I made this a few hours ahead of time and I made it with Zesty Italian mix. It wasn't as rich as full fat dips but it was still very flavorful and creamy. I served it with veggies and pita chips and everyone said they liked it. It was very easy, too!

This is a good one. I used a food processor and instead of the italian seasoning I did use the ranch and it was awesome...

Since I don't have a blender or food processor, I just used a hand-mixer. No good. Party guests couldn't get past the fact that it looked like cottage cheese. Once I convinced them to taste it, they loved it! I'll be shopping for a food processor soon!! I also want to try this with ranch dressing mix to serve with veggies and chili mix to serve with tortilla chips.
