This is a good quick, easy recipe for a busy day. What I like to do is cut the sausage, green pepper and onion, then place it in a sealed plastic bag with about 1/2 cup of the Italian dressing and let it marinate for a couple of hours or overnight. No basting that way and has a more Italian flavor to it. Also I prefer to use my gas grill.
Made this with Turkey Italian Sausage under the broiler, with whole canned potatoes, red onion and grape tomatoes also on the skewers. Whole family enjoyed it, even our picky kid! Served with Minute Rice & Lite Soy sauce.
