Make It

Tap or click steps to mark as complete

  • Heat oven to 350°F.
  • Mix bread crumbs and milk in large bowl. Add meat, half the tomato sauce and remaining ingredients; mix just until blended.
  • Shape meat mixture into oval loaf in shallow pan sprayed with cooking spray.
  • Bake 1 hour. Spoon remaining tomato sauce over meatloaf; bake 20 min. or until meatloaf is done (160ºF).

Serving Suggestion

Serve with hot cooked sweet potatoes and a steamed fresh green vegetable.

Special Extra

Prepare meatloaf as directed; cool, then slice. Wrap individual portions in foil. Label, date and place in freezer-weight resealable plastic bags. When ready to serve, unwrap and microwave until heated through (160°F).

Thawing Ground Beef Safely

To thaw ground beef safely, keep the meat wrapped and thaw it in the refrigerator -- not on the countertop. Store on the bottom shelf of the refrigerator to prevent any drippings from cross-contaminating other foods. Use thawed meat within 2 days.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from What a great dish! What a great dish! First time making meatloaf at all. I used the ketchup in mine. And I didnt use the celery but I am sure it would have been wonderful with it. This was the best I've ever tasted. The family just loved it! I would recommend making more than serving for family. They will want seconds!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My husband and I loved it. My husband and I loved it. He says it's his new favorite. We loved the ketchup in it but didn't use as much celery as suggested (maybe 1/2 cup) and didn't have parsley on hand so didn't bother with that either. Still really tasty!
