  • Preheat oven to 400°F. Add hot water to stuffing mix; stir just until moistened. Set aside.
  • Cook and stir sausage, peppers and onion in large skillet on medium-high heat until sausage is evenly browned; drain. Place in 13x9-inch baking dish. Pour tomato sauce over sausage mixture; top with prepared stuffing.
  • Bake 25 minutes or until sausage is cooked through.

How to Easily Slice Sausage

Remove frozen sausage from freezer about 10 minutes before slicing. Or, partially thaw sausage in microwave just before slicing.
