Italian Spinach Dip Recipe

What You Need

1

cup MIRACLE WHIP Dressing

1

cup BREAKSTONE'S or KNUDSEN Sour Cream

1

env. GOOD SEASONS Italian Dressing Mix

1

pkg. (10 oz.) frozen chopped spinach, thawed, well drained

1/2

cup chopped red pepper

1

can (8 oz.) water chestnuts, drained, chopped

Make It

MIX dressing, sour cream and dressing mix until well blended. Add remaining ingredients; mix well. Cover.

REFRIGERATE several hours or until chilled.

SERVE with assorted NABISCO Crackers or cut-up fresh vegetables.

Special Extra

Serve dip in a hollowed-out round bread loaf. Simply cut thin slice off top of 1-lb. round bread loaf. Remove center of loaf, leaving 1-inch-thick shell. Tear removed bread into bite-size pieces to serve with the dip or reserve for another use. Fill bread shell with dip just before serving.

This was fantastic - Did substitute the water chestnuts for roasted pine nuts. Excellent!!!

miracle whip made this too sweet for my taste. may use mayo.

Easy to make and a great hit for our party. I only used half the chestnuts since we're not big fans of those and it still had enough crunch. Served it with Hawaiian bread, excellent flavors together. Will definitely make for our next birthday party!

my family loved this....it was very easy...we like alittle heat in my family..so..I added cayenne pepper and hot sauce...definitely would make again...

This was very tasty and everyone loved it. I placed it in a bread bowl, which made it look more festive. I would recommend that you chop the watercrests very good so you don't have those large clumps. This is a fast and easy recipe.

I made it with the Miracle Whip, didn't like it. I would definitely make it again but using mayo instead. And I think it needed more of a kick, like maybe 1 1/2 packets of the Good Seasons.
