What You Need

cup  long-grain white rice, uncooked

Tbsp.  butter

Tbsp.  flour
1/2
cup  KRAFT Grated Parmesan Cheese, divided
3/4
lb.  Italian sausage, crumbled
3
stalks  celery, sliced
1
 green pepper, chopped
1
small  onion, chopped
1
can   (14.5 oz.) HUNT'S® Diced Tomatoes with Basil, Garlic & Oregano, undrained
1
can  (14.5 oz.) fat-free reduced-sodium chicken broth
1/2
lb.  frozen uncooked cleaned medium shrimp, thawed

Make It

COOK rice as directed on package, omitting salt.

MEANWHILE, melt butter in large saucepan on medium heat. Stir in flour and 1/4 cup cheese; cook and stir 5 min. or until mixture comes to boil. Add sausage, celery, peppers and onions; cook 15 min., stirring frequently. Stir in tomatoes, chicken broth and shrimp; cook 10 min. or until mixture is heated through and shrimp are done, stirring occasionally.

SPOON shrimp mixture over rice; top with remaining cheese.

Add 1/2 cup drained giardiniera to the cooked sausage mixture along with the tomatoes, broth and shrimp.
