Italian-Style Macaroni & Cheese Skillet

Want to turn regular mac and cheese into an Italian-Style Macaroni & Cheese Skillet? Top it with warm cherry tomatoes, mozzarella and oregano.

What You Need

cups  water
1
pkg.  (14 oz.) KRAFT Deluxe Macaroni & Cheese Dinner
1
lb.  cherry tomatoes, halved
2
tsp.  sugar
1
cup  KRAFT Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
1/2
tsp.  dried oregano leaves

Make It

BRING water to boil in large skillet on medium-high heat. Stir in Macaroni; cover. Simmer on medium-low heat 10 min. or until macaroni is tender and most of the water is absorbed. Stir in contents of Cheese Pouch. Remove from heat; set aside.

HEAT medium nonstick skillet on medium heat. Add tomatoes and sugar; cook and stir 2 min. or until tomatoes are softened. Spoon over macaroni and cheese. Remove from heat.

TOP with mozzarella and oregano; cover. Let stand 5 min. or until cheese is melted.

Substitute
Substitute 3 large tomatoes, cup into thin wedges, for the halved cherry tomatoes.
